Palau Pledge
The Brief:
The small island nation of Palau were feeling the effects of human impact on their environment, with tourists damaging their reefs, littering in their oceans, and poaching protected species. How could a small nation with limited resources police the huge number of tourists that visited the island.
The Solution:
A Pledge, from the children of Palau asking to take greater care of their island and their futures, was stamped into the passport of each tourist arriving in Palau. To sign the pledge was to agree to act in a more environmentally conscious way, and to only leave footprints on the island that would wash away.
Role:
Working alongside an immensely talented team of designers, I was responsible for creating the iconography set, as well as crafting the overall look and feel and rolling out assets.
