eBay had recently had a brand look refresh, and a number of assets needed to be brought in line with this. The business guide was a key tool in helping businesses operate on eBay, no matter what scale, or products they were selling. The look and feel of the guide needed to work in sync with the new brand playbook, including colours, typography and imagery.

To create a guide that followed the principles of the main eBay playbook, informative, but with a sense of playfulness, that would communicate with all types of businesses. Iconography was created that worked in sync with the copy, making the guide more visually dynamic and easier to digest. This was then applied to digital assets, including website and EDM.
